Location: Gurney Road Pond is located at the Jim Edgar Panther Creek State and Fish and Wildlife Area, 8 miles north of Ashland and 40 miles northwest of Springfield.

Description: Gurney Road Pond has been enrolled in the spring catchable trout program since 1998, and over 3,000 rainbow trout have been stocked since. The pond is 1.5 acres with a maximum depth of 12 feet. Anglers can catch rainbow trout during the spring trout season.
