Location: Oakland City Lake is located on the northeast side of Oakland in Coles County.
Description: The lake covers 23.0 surface acres with a maximum depth of 8 feet and average depth of 3.5 feet. Bank fishing access occurs on the dam and a public boat launching facility is available.
History and Status of the Sport Fishery: Channel catfish are stocked annually.
Additional Lake Information: Electric motors only are allowed on this lake.
