St.Louis Corps District Water Levels

FISHING REPORT PROVIDED BY:  Reported by Perry at Lepracon Landing - near the entrance to Wolf Creek State Park & Chips Marine at the Entrance to Bo Woods Camp Ground. "Angling is delightful - experience the thrill of the Hit and the Catch!"

WATER CONDITIONS:  Lake levels are 11.98 feet above normal summer pool. Fishing success is picking up a little! There will be a Crappie Bash at Wilburn Creek Ramp on May 20th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fair: Fish shallow off the banks with minnows; keep moving to find them; some are catching them - some aren't.

Fair: Walleye and White Bass: Target the flats with a jig and minnow.

Fair: A few caught off the bank along the edges with mud leeches, night crawlers, and cut bait.
