WATER CONDITIONS:  Lake levels are good for fishing. Surface temperature is close to 80 degrees. The thermal line is 8 feet deep in the lake. Lots of fish hanging out near that level. Crappie are deep in 15 to 18 feet of water near brush.

CHANNEL CATFISH

Good: Look for them in the shallow levels at night near laydowns and trees with chicken livers and night crawlers.

BLUEGILL

Fair: Spawning - on beds again; drag a wax worms, meal worm, cricket, or red worm across the bedding areas or near weed lines.

LARGEMOUTH BASS

Fair to Good: Aggressive hits on plastic worms and crank baits just off and near the bluegill beds. Early morning and later evening hours best.
