WATER ..... Mill Creek Lake




FISHING REPORT DATE: 07-03-09

FISHING AREA: Mill Creek Lake has 811 acres, with 35 miles of shoreline. 60 feet is the maximum depth of the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, camping, skiing, and picknicking. Mill Creek Lake is located south of Clarksville in clark County, just north of I-70.

WATER CONDITIONS: Water levels are steady. More enjoyable weather temperatures this past week.

FISH: Crappie ... Slower; Success has slowed down with fish scattered and moving deeper near brush; offer minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Fair; More of them being caught this week and nicer sizes; drag a worm under a bobber near cover.

FISH: Bass .. Fair; Lots of boats; look for them off the points using Carolina Rigs and jigs; cast near brush while fish are feeding during early morning and later evening hours.

FISH: Catfish ... Fair to Good; Spawning conditions; Cast near the weed beds with cheese bait, night crawlers or chicken livers.
