FISHING AREA: Mill Creek Lake has 811 acres, with 35 miles of shoreline. 60 feet is the maximum depth of the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, camping, skiing, and picknicking. Mill Creek Lake is located south of Clarksville in Clark County, just north of I-70.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are good.

FISH: Crappie ... Good; Anglers are very successful with minnows as fish move up into the shallower water levels.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water along the weed lines, near docks, or cover.

FISH: Bass ... Good; Nice sized fish are being taken with artificial baits.

FISH: Catfish ... Fair; Fish continue to bite on a variety of baits off the shorelines near the weed lines.

NOTES: The weekly Wednesday night bass club tournament has been moved to Saturdays.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is pretty clear with levels just a little below normal; Best Fishing In The Area!

FISH: Crappie ... Good; The biggest and best around! Anglers are catching lots! Fish are moving up into the shallower water levels and biting on minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water along the weed lines.

FISH: Bass ... Good; Anglers successful with crankbaits, artificial baits and worms.

FISH: Catfish ... Fair to Good; Fish continue to bite on a variety of baits off the shorelines near the weed lines.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is pretty clear with levels just a little below normal; Best Fishing In The Area!

FISH: Crappie ... Excellent; The biggest and best around! Anglers are catching lots! Fish are moving up into the shallower water levels and biting on minnows.

FISH: Bass ... Real Good; Anglers successful with crankbaits, artificial baits and worms.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are good. Less than 1/2 inch of rainfall fell this past week, just settled the dust; fishing is GOOD!.

FISH: Crappie ... Very Good; Very nice fat ones being reeled in! Anglers are catching lots! Fish are moving up into the shallower water levels and biting on minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water along the weed lines.

FISH: Bass ... Good; Anglers successful with artificial baits and worms.

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Fish continue to bite on a variety of baits off the shorelines near the weed lines.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are good. Beautiful weather this past week.

FISH: Crappie ... Good; Anglers are catching lots! Fish are moving up into shallower water levels; 12 to 14 inch fish are being reeled in with minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water.

FISH: Bass ... Good; An angler reported catching 50 nice sized fish this past week with an artificial worm; he released all the fish.

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Fish continue to bite on a variety of baits.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are normal; only 3/4 an inch of rainfall was received this past week; water temperatures are dropping; the weather has been great this past week!

FISH: Crappie ... Good; Fish are moving up into shallower water levels; 12 to 14 inch fish are being reeled in with minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water.

FISH: Bass ... Fair; Angling success is a little slower, but should pick up by the weekend; continue using top water baits.

FISH: Catfish ... Very Good; Fish are actively biting on a variety of baits.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are o.k.; an inch of rainfall was received this past week; water temperatures have dropped to the lower 70's. Fishing success is HOT! Everything is biting! Anglers are pulling fish out right and left; put your hand in the water and you might get one!

FISH: Crappie ... Very Good; Fish are actively biting! 12 to 14 inch fish are being reeled in with minnows.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water.

FISH: Bass ... Fair to Good; Anglers are successful using top water baits; look for the shad.

FISH: Catfish ... Very Good; Fish are biting of anything and everything. Fun to catch!

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are good; water temperatures have dropped to the mid to upper 70's. The lake was super busy last weekend; lots of boating activity might have interrupted angling success.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Good; Look for fish in 14 to 18 feet of water near tree tops.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water.

FISH: Bass ... Fair to Good; Anglers are successful using top water baits; fish are chasing the shad.

FISH: Catfish ... Very Good; Several nice fish have been caught with shrimp and cheese brots; fish love-em!.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake levels are good; water temperatures are near 80 degrees. Enjoyable camping and fishing weather.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Good; Fish deep near tree tops; an angler reported catching 15 nice sized fish during an outing.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms under a bobber in approximately 4 to 5 feet of water. An angler reported catching 14 this past week.

FISH: Bass ... Fair to Good; Anglers are successful using top water baits; fish are chasing the shad.

FISH: Catfish ... Very Good; Fish can be easily caught in shallow water with a variety of baits.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is great for fishing; water clarity is clearing up quite a bit from no additional rainfall this past week; water temperatures are in the low 80's. Wonderful camping and fishing weather.

NOTE: Fish have established summer fishing patterns; many of them have moved into deeper water levels. All species are biting this week! It's fun to fish!

FISH: Crappie ... Fair; A few fish are being taken from deeper water as they are suspended near brush piles or structure in 15 to 18 feet of water.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fishermen using wax worms and red worms near cover along the shorelines as fish prepare to spawn again.

FISH: Bass ... Fair to Good; Fish are biting! Fish are being caught on jigs and lures near submerged cover from deeper water levels.

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Anglers are successful using a combination of shad guts, chicken liver, blood bait, and cheese bait; early morning and later evening hours best.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is great for fishing; water temperatures are in the mid 80's. Most fish are suspended in deep water and biting on jigs.

NOTE: Fish are establishing summer fishing patterns; look for them in deeper cooler water levels.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is close to normal and murkey; water temperatures are in the low 80's; quite a few fish being caught; lots of fishing activity!

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fish are fun to catch on a variety of baits under a bobber.

FISH: Bass ... Very Good; Nice sized fish are being reeled in by anglers using a variety of baits;

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Cheese bait and night crawlers during early morning or later evening hours are producing in shallower water.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is normal; fishing is good; rainfall has been received this past week; lots of fishing activity!

FISH: Crappie ... Spotty; Some fish are being caught even though are scattered; jigs are working pretty well.

FISH: Bass ... Very Good; Nice sized fish are being reeled in by anglers using a variety of baits;

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Offer cheese bait and night crawlers during early morning or later evening hours.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is very good; levels are o.k.; fishing is good.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair; Angling success has slowed down, but they are still catching a few as fish have moved into deeper water and are scattered; jigs are best.

FISH: Bass ... Good; Nice sized fish are being reeled in by anglers using a variety of baits.

FISH: Catfish ... Good; Offer cheese bait and night crawlers.

FISHING AREA: Mill Creek Lake has 811 acres, with 35 miles of shoreline. 60 feet is the maximum depth of the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, camping, skiing, and picknicking. Mill Creek Lake is located south of Clarksville in clark County, just north of I-70.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is pretty much back to normal, maybe just sightly under normal; water conditions are stained; Fishermen are busy.

FISH: Crappie ... Slower; Fish have moved into deeper water and are scattered; jigs are best.

FISH: Bass ... Very Good; Lots! Large sized fish are being reeled in by anglers using a variety of baits; An angler reported catching two 6.5 pounders and a 7.2 pound fish this past week that he put back, so they are still in there to be caught again.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake is pretty much back to normal; water conditions are a little muddy; several fishing.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Good; Look for fish in a little deeper water now that they have completed the spawn.

FISH: Bass ... Fair to Good; Anglers using a variety of baits in a little deeper water with soft plastics and jigs.

WATER CONDITIONS: The lake has been closed since last Saturday; 10 inches of rainfall received.

WATER CONDITIONS: The Water is muddy from recent heavy rainfall; temperatures near 69 degrees; fishing is really good, catching lots!

FISH: Crappie ... Good; Toss jigs along the banks near brush and also deep for nice sized fish.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fish are in fairly close and interested in making beds as soon as the water stabilizes; offer a variety of baits and presentations.

FISH: Bass .. Good; Look for fish near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms.

FISHING AREA: Mill Creek Lake has 811 acres, with 35 miles of shoreline. 60 feet is the maximum depth of the lake. Visitors can enjoy fishing, boating, camping, skiing, and picknicking. Mill Creek Lake is located south of Clarksville in clark County, just north of I-70.

WATER CONDITIONS: The Water is muddy with temperatures near 68 degrees; fishing is good.

FISH: Crappie ... Very Good; Nice sized fish are very active along the banks and hitting on jigs.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; Fish are in close and interested in making beds; they are aggressive and easy to catch on a variety of baits and methods.

FISH: Bass .. Good; A few fish are spawning; look for them near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms.

FISH: Walleye .. An extra large fish was caught this spring in the lake.

WATER CONDITIONS: The Water level is fine and a little clowdy, but not a problem to fish; lots of fish being caught.

FISH: Crappie ... Good; Fish are very active along the banks and hitting on jigs. A 17 inch black crappie was reeled in recently.

FISH: Bluegill ... Good; They are not on the beds yet, but are interested in making them and hungry.

FISH: Bass .. Spotty; A few fish are spawning; look for them near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms.

WATER CONDITIONS: The Water level is down just a little, but more rainfall was received this past week. Several Fishermen.

FISH: Crappie ... Good; The fish like jigs this week; the males are in close and females are out a little.

FISH: Bass .. Spotty; A few fish are spawning; look for them near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms.

FISH: Bass .. Good; Big 7 pounders have been taken from near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms.

FISH: Crappie ... Good;Anglers are catching fish mostly on minnows and a few with jigs off the brush piles.

FISH: Bass .. Good; Look for them near the shorelines with lures and artificial worms; a big one was caught at the bridge.

WATER CONDITIONS: Water levels are still up some, might of fell 2 or 3 inches; water is starting to clear; the camp ground and ATV trail is open.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Good; Fish are biting on minnows and feeding more actively as the water temperatures warm up.

FISH: Bass .. Fair to Good; Anglers are using lures and some have been caught with minnows while fishermen look for crappie.

WATER CONDITIONS: Water levels have dropped to near normal; some angling activity; the camp ground and ATV trail is open.

FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Good; The rainfall early in the week slowed success, but should pick up with the warmer temperatures and sunshine.

FISH: Bass .. Fair; A few fishermen are on the lake trolling and casting.

WATER CONDITIONS: Water levels are high and up on the retaining wall; it been wet, cold, and muddy; some angling activity this past week; the camp ground is open.

FISH: Bass .. Fair; an angler reported catching a 5 pounder recently.
