FISH: Bluegill ... Slow; Anglers are catching small sized fish with wax worms near the docks.
FISH: Crappie ... Fair to Slow; Tube jigs, with or without minnows are attracting attention near Deer Island, around the boat rental area, and Campground Cove; also look for them in Six-Mile Creek Bay around wood and around trees and brush.

FISHING AREA: Evergreen Lake has 686 acres, 22 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 50 feet. The lake provides boat fishing with a 10 horsepower motor maximum limit. Swimming, camping, and picknicking opportuities are also available. Evergreen Lake is located north of Bloomington, west of I-39 in McLean County.
WATER CONDITIONS: Lake level is just over pool, stained with temperatures from 45 to 50 degrees.
NOTE: Starting April 1st, the lake will have a crappie daily creel limit of 15 fish with a 9 inch minimum length.
